<description>The University of Cambridge's Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning cordially invites you to attend a special networking event:

Theme: Is Entrepreneurship a Contact Sport?

Date: 29 January 2013, 18:00 to 20:30; Registration is from 18:00 to 18:30

Location: British Consulate, 1 Supreme Court Road, Hong Kong

The Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning is working in collaboration with UK Trade &#38; Investment (UKTI) to offer an exciting learning and networking opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs, start?-ups, business managers, corporate innovators, policy makers and academics based in Hong Kong to learn more about us and our Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship programme.

The event will start in the Conference Room at the British Consulate with a panel discussion on the topic of

'Is Entrepreneurship a contact sport or can it be taught online'
this will be shared by local entrepreneur guest speakers including Dr Dominic Chan, Founder and Chief Consultant at Decisive Consulting Ltd; and chaired by Mr Paul Lynch, Director for Trade and Investment, British Consulate-General Hong Kong.

The theme of our event was inspired by our new Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship which is largely taught online (albeit with two residential sessions in Cambridge) via a Virtual Learning Environment. This programme enables entrepreneurs across the world to pursue their enterprise locally while being supported by tutors and mentors. The resulting qualification is awarded by the University of Cambridge, UK. There will then be a presentation by Dr Joanna Mills, the Programme Director for the Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship followed by a chance for Q&#38;A with the audience. Finally, the event will move to the Reception Hall for networking and refreshments.

If you're interested in attending, please register your interest by completing the online form so we can add you to our invite list and send more information.
