Principal,

Prince Philip Scholarship tenable at Cambridge University – Information Seminar

Every year, through the Prince Philip Scholarship, The Friends of Cambridge University in Hong Kong support the most talented local young people to pursue their tertiary education in one of the most renowned universities in the world – Cambridge University. Subject to means testing, the Scholarship covers up to the full cost of all fees, accommodation and living expenses for a full undergraduate programme at the University. Since its inauguration in 1982, the Scholarship has supported over 165 Hong Kong students to undertake undergraduate studies at Cambridge University.

As part of our on-going effort to introduce Cambridge University and the Prince Philip Scholarship to students who are keen to challenge themselves, you or your representative and your students are cordially invited to attend the Prince Philip Scholarship Information Seminar. This year’s seminar will cover important information on application procedures, selection criteria and working schedule. In addition, the seminar will include information of the written assessments, introduced by the Colleges of the University of Cambridge a year ago.
The seminar will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on 12th September, 2017 (Tuesday) at The Auditorium, 7th Floor, BEA Tower, Millennium City 5, 418 Kwun Tong Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong (Kwun Tong MTR station, Exit A2). Representatives from the Scholarship’s Selection Committee (including professors from Cambridge University) will be present to meet you and your students to provide advice and information on admission to Cambridge. Current undergraduate students will also be there to share with your students their experience of Cambridge.

Places are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Kindly sign up by filling out the on-line form at http://www.cambridge.org.hk/ppseminar.html or email to kwanc@hkbea.com by 9th September 2017. Please encourage interested students to attend so as to take advantage of this opportunity. We look forward to meeting your students who are academically well-suited for Cambridge and who welcome the challenge.
